General requirements
A successful applicant has obtained their first academic degree, normally a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, from an institution of higher education. As a rule, the Bachelor’s degree is the required lower academic degree. This degree should be equivalent to at least three years of full time studies (180 ECTS).
Suitable degrees are the following or similar:
- Computer engineering
- Electronics or Electrical engineering
- Communications engineering
- Nanotechnology
- Materials Science or Engineering
- Excellent candidates with degrees in other fields such as information systems, engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, will be considered if they can show to have acquired sufficient skills and knowledge.
