Overview
The Diplomacy programme is offered by University of Malta .
The programme provides you with both theoretical perspectives and practical work in the diplomatic field, concentrating mainly on the 20th century diplomatic history and contemporary international affairs. You will be familiarized with the major diplomatic and military events including World War I, World War II, the Cold War and the post-Cold War period. These are all examined from both a general international and a Mediterranean perspective.
Career Opportunities
As a successful holder of this degree, you will have the opportunity to enter a career locally and globally in the international relations field, both in the public and private sectors. As a recognised and qualified diplomat, you will have a keen and insightful approach towards problem solving, with a better capacity to recognise and understand the differences between cultures, organisations, companies and individuals.
If you are interested in furthering your studies, you may do so by enrolling in an alternative masters' programme offered by the Department of Mediterranean academy of Diplomatic Studies, or pursue a doctorate in a foreign institution abroad.
