Overview

These units embrace a blended approach to teaching and learning, comprising in-class sessions, online activity and self-directed commitment. 

In the third semester, you will pursue a research study leading to the writing up of a dissertation under the supervision of an academic supervisor. 

Through the series of study-units and the dissertation, this programme aims at enhancing the professional role of the nurse as a clinician, an educator, a researcher and as an active player in the realms of academia, policy making, management and innovation.

• The Nursing programme from University of Malta enables you to master research, academic and professional skills which lend themselves well to various clinical and non-clinical posts and roles, primarily within the health and social care sectors. 
• Upon the successful completion of this programme, you will be eligible to apply for registration on a doctoral programme of studies at the University of Malta or a foreign institution abroad.
