Overview

We offer you possibility to develop your knowledge in three key areas of international business: Global strategies in a digitalized world, global marketing and entrepreneurship, and leading people in global business environment.

Teaching outcomes

With us you will master both current theory and practice of international business. Teaching in the programme is based on our high-quality and internationally recognised research groups and professors, who will support your learning in multicultural teams using a variety of the latest learning methods. 

You will gain insights into business practices through guest lectures, company projects and our mentoring programme. Upon graduation you are awarded the degree of Master of Science in economics and Business Administration.

Accreditation

The Master's Degree Programme in International Business is one of a very few in Finland that has international EFMD accreditation. EFMD accreditation is a worldwide quality label for degree programmes in the field of business studies. In the EFMD accreditation process the academic rigour, practical relevance, internationalisation, ethics and sustainability are emphasized.

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. Other requirements

General requirements

Students are eligible for admission to the two-year Master’s Degree Programme in International Business (MIB programme) if they have completed a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field. The MIB programme is open both for international and Finnish applicants. The programme leads to a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Eligible for studies leading only to a higher university degree shall be a person who has

1. an applicable lower university degree;

2. an applicable polytechnic degree; or

3. an applicable education completed abroad which in the awarding country gives eligibility for corresponding higher education.
