We offer you the possibility to develop your knowledge in three key areas of international business: global strategies in a digitalised world, global marketing and entrepreneurship, and leading people in a global business environment.
Teaching outcomes
The objective of the MIB programme is to educate internationally competent students and to provide them with the required knowledge and skills to work in challenging positions both in international business and in the increasingly diverse domestic markets. In practice this means developing a diverse range of knowledge and skills.
We offer you the chance to develop your international competence in an interdisciplinary programme focusing on Sustainable Global Business through three core knowledge areas of international business: global strategies in a digitized world, global marketing and entrepreneurship, and leading people in global business environment. In addition, sustainability and ethics in global business are integrated into these key areas.
Accreditation
The Programme in International Business is one of very few in Finland and one among less than 100 programmes worldwide that has the EFMD accreditation. The EFMD accreditation is a worldwide quality label for degree programmes in the field of business studies. In the EFMD accreditation process the academic rigour, practical relevance, internationalisation, ethics and sustainability are emphasized.

2. an applicable polytechnic degree; or

Living costs for Vaasa
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
University of Vaasa offers a generous scholarship programme for students who are subject to tuition fees. Scholarships are applied for by choosing the scholarship option in the application form to the programme. Students are informed about possible scholarships together with the admission results.
