It is also located at the University’s Leahurst campus, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool Women’s Hospital, St Paul’s Eye Unit and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. Researchers benefit from access to world-class equipment and facilities via the Liverpool Shared Research Facilities (LIV-SRF), many of which are based within the faculty.

Applicants for postgraduate research study at Liverpool are normally expected to hold a UK first degree with a First Class or Upper Second Class degree classification, or a Second Class degree plus a Master’s degree.
