The Project Management MSc programme offered at the University of Liverpool aims to help students take the first step towards a career in the dynamic field of project management. Project Management uses organisational initiative to complete a range of tasks such as the construction of new buildings, developing the next app or design innovations in the healthcare industry. 


Underpinning the fundamentals of the field is the need to manage projects within constraints including time, cost, quality and scope.

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.
IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

General requirements

  • The ULMS continues to welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria in order to select a balanced international student cohort. 
  • Students will normally be expected to hold a university degree in Management, Architecture, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Science or related disciplines at 2:1 standard from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar international institution. 
  • Non graduates with very extensive professional experience and/or other prior qualifications may also be considered. All candidates must meet our required level of English.
