The Master of Professional Kinesiology (MPK) offered by Brock University builds on the strengths of the Department of Kinesiology and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Brock University. It encompasses innovative lecture and lab-based coursework, professional development courses, and a unique opportunity for internship placements with diverse populations across the lifespan. An in-depth comprehension of kinesiology and all its relevant disciplines is required; the MPK program will build on these competencies to achieve high-level knowledge and practical competencies.

General requirements

To be considered for admission to a Master’s program, a student will normally hold a four-year degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university with a minimum 75% (mid-B) average over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study.
You will need to submit your transcripts as well as the following program-specific materials:

Two references (one academic, one health professional) required.
A statement of intent no more than one (1) page in length, in which applicants indicate their relevant background experience in Kinesiology, and how the MPK degree will facilitate the applicants career aspirations
An updated CV/Resume outlining recent and relevant work and volunteer experience
