You will be attached to one or more of our research groups, working alongside postdoctoral and other postgraduate researchers with shared interests. Chemistry MRes is offered by University of Brighton

Working with your supervisor, you’ll design and undertake a substantial research project which provides a real intellectual challenge and shows the relevance of scientific research to industry. You’ll demonstrate your creativity and initiative, and gain advanced knowledge of techniques such as chromatography spectroscopy and electroanalysis, as you build confidence and independence as a researcher.

A 2:1 degree in a relevant subject. Students with a degree that does not fall within this category but who have significant relevant experience, will also be considered. All applicants should provide a full description of any research projects undertaken, relevant work experience and non-academic qualifications.

The JACS code for this course is F100, meaning that students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland will have to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate before they apply for a visa.

IELTS score of 6.5, with no part below 6.0.
