Overview
The objective of the Master’s degree programme in Mathematics at the University of Heidelberg is to expand and improve the basic knowledge of mathematics with the aim of enabling students to gain insights into current research in Heidelberg. Graduates of the Master’s programme are able to apply and independently develop mathematical methods and models. Writing the Master's thesis strengthens students’ ability to autonomously conduct scientific work, analyse and solve problems, and organise their own work.
