Overview

The Project Leadership program at the University of Sydney is designed for experienced project managers and senior managers seeking to develop the critical complex thinking and communication skills required for successful project leadership.

An innovative and challenging program, it will develop your strategic thinking capability and broaden conventional concepts of leadership, management, governance, risk, resilience and sustainability. You will focus on the importance of interpersonal skills to develop effective leadership, and learn how to apply the principles of emotional intelligence to influence and manage successful project outcomes.

Career Pathways

As a graduate of the Master of Project Leadership you will have the knowledge to apply a range of relevant models and theories across projects at an organisational level. The Master of Project Leadership deepens your understanding of the dynamics of delivery, adaptation and change, and of managing the connected complexities of decision making and taking.

The Master of Project Leadership will provide you with innovative ways of treating projects as dynamic and adaptive systems. You will understand how applying the principles of complexity thinking will enable you to manage large-scale initiatives successfully.
