Our University is a campus university and it is ranked among the top Universities in Italy (ranked 4th Italian medical University in Times Higher Education 2025 ranking) and the Campus is built alongside our Humanitas Research Hospital (the best Italian Hospital - for the third consecutive year).

The MEDTEC School aims to train professionals who will be able to apply medical and technological know-how as a means of providing innovative and quality medicine. In a global context of increasing complexity, technological innovation makes it possible to improve the quality of life in a sustainable way, innovating care and humanising the doctor-patient relationship.

This degree course strongly focusses on enhancing the medical skills of a doctor through the integration and acquisition of the basic competences and approaches relevant to Biomedical Engineering.

Starting from the fourth year students will start their clinical training at the various Humanitas Hospitals under the supervision of specialised tutors, who follow undergraduates through their clinical practice.

Humanitas University offers a range of additional opportunities aimed at supporting both academic and personal development. Students may choose to participate in student societies, take part in university sports activities, or apply for advanced academic programmes such as the Honors Track and the Virgilio Program. These initiatives are designed to complement the core curriculum and encourage active engagement.

Hold a High School Diploma obtained after at least 12 years of education;
Are attending the last year foreseen for the obtainment of a diploma which complies with the requirements listed on this page.

If the local School System provides for 11 or 10 years of schooling, the diploma fits the requirement only when integrated with 1 or 2 years of University.
