Overview

The Event Management program from  Swiss School of Higher Education provides an overview of different types of events and their specific requirements in terms of operational planning. 

This course will analyze the motivations and expectations of clients today and the evolving event environment.  

Demand is growing in the Event Industry with an estimated 200 million people who work in the Event Management field. These festivals, sports events, music concerts, conferences, exhibitions and meetings are an economic and social driver for many companies, cities, regions and countries. Examples of these include: The Montreux Jazz Festival, The Olympics, the World Cup, the Rio de Janerio Carnival and the Davos Economic Forum.

Students who have graduated with a Diploma in Master of Business Administration have found exciting jobs with International companies such as: UEFA, FIFA, IOC, FIBA and a variety of major Event Companies and Organizations.

The Event Management program provides students with many career options at higher levels as it combines a number of profound business disciplines, such as management, marketing, finance, business communication, business ethics and many others that are needed to further your career in this dynamic field.

At the end of the Event Management studies students are required to complete an internship, which will give them practical experience and shape their theoretical knowledge in the industry.
