Overview
The healthcare landscape is changing and challenging the way we currently engage with healthcare services. The population is living longer with complex and chronic conditions, and many people have increasing expectations of healthcare and technology.
The traditional, siloed approach to healthcare is becoming increasingly ineffective and inefficient in meeting patients’ needs and desires. We require a flexible health workforce that engages in lifelong learning, is technologically savvy, understands research evidence, and is able to develop different models and systems of care. We are all being challenged to upskill and prepare ourselves to lead the changes required. Health leaders who think differently can learn to thrive in an environment of disruption and create positive change.
The Master of Healthcare Innovations is offered full-time over 3 semesters (one year), or part-time over multiple semesters. The program is delivered to small cohorts via intensive workshops supported by blended and online learning approaches, limiting on-campus attendance requirements and ensuring flexibility to cater for interstate or international students, and those balancing studies with work and family commitments.
Bond University’s Healthcare Innovations suite of programs is an Australian first. This innovative program suite offers a range of study options – two Graduate Certificate’s, a Graduate Diploma, and a Master’s Degree, as well as a number of Single Subject Offerings that can be completed as a professional development opportunity.
Professional outcomes
The Master of Healthcare Innovations is designed for professionals seeking their next challenge in healthcare. Graduates will be able to shape and refine ways in which they lead and innovate through developing or improving products, processes and/or redesigning services.
