Overview

The Safety, Health and Environment program from University Teknologi Malaysia provides an opportunity for practitioners from broad backgrounds to enhance their technical knowledge and skills in SHE management. In return, students will develop abilities to manage issues related to safety, health, and environment effectively and ethically.

The program covers important aspects of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Environmental Protection, Process Safety Management (PSM) and Prevention through Design (PtD). Each module is conducted by experts from the academia and the industry. The candidates are also required to solve industrial problems through SHE Project I & II with proper supervision by experienced researchers from FCEE, UTM.

General requirements

Candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree in any field of science, technology or engineering with CGPA at least 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent) from Recognised Higher Learning Institution. For those having CGPA less than that, Appendix B of UTM entry qualification will be followed.
Candidates with other academic backgrounds must have at least 3 years minimum working experience in the field of safety, health or environment.
