Part of our Electrical and Energy Engineering programme, the major in Electrical Engineering provides you with up-to-date knowledge of the ongoing energy transition and equips you with the skills to create innovative and sustainable energy solutions for the future.
Throughout your studies, you will learn to analyze the impact of the green energy transition, digitalization, and emerging technologies on smart energy systems. You'll also gain the expertise to plan and develop resilient and intelligent energy solutions using various simulation tools.
This major prepares you for a wide range of roles in the energy sector, enabling you to lead and manage the development of new technologies and projects. In addition, the degree prepares for research work and gives you eligibility for further studies in electrical engineering and electrical energy engineering.
The major in Electrical Engineering is a part of the Master’s programme in Electrical and Energy Engineering. The duration of studies is 2 years (120 ECTS credits).
In order to apply for admission to the Master’s Programme, the applicants should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field including: electrical engineering, energy engineering, power systems engineering, renewable energy engineering, robotics engineering, electronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, computer engineering, network engineering, telecommunications engineering.
