
Overview
The Global Health and Crisis Management Master's Degree programme from Laurea University of Applied Sciences is largely based on evidence, global and international models, and best practices in addition to expert experiences from the fields.
The most important areas of generic competencies include ethical awareness, research and development methods, and communication in a multidisciplinary team, management, development, and leadership.
Global Health studies are based on global needs. You are provided with general research and development competencies to work in developing, low- and middle-income countries.

- the Finnish general upper secondary school syllabus and/or the Finnish Matriculation examination;
- an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma;
- a Reifeprüfung (RP) Diploma or Deutsche Internationale Abitur (DIA) degree;
- a European Baccalaureate Diploma (EB);
- a Finnish vocational upper secondary qualification with a scope of 120 credit units or 180 credit points, or a comparable previous Finnish vocational qualification with a minimum scope of 80 credit units;
- a Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma.

Living costs for Vantaa
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
Grants are intended for students paying yearly tuition fee in accordance with the grant fund regulations. The grants are provided to students applying for them provided that the student has completed at least 60 ECTS that count towards their degree programme in the previous academic year ending on 31st July. The size of any grant is to be at most equivalent to 10% of the yearly tuition fee.
