Study programme focus

Lecturers on the Wind Energy programme are elite researchers from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) specializing in wind energy, as well as experts and engineers from the wind turbine industry. You will gain access to state-of-the-art research and technology as well as extensive knowledge of aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, mechanics, grid connection, and electrical engineering.

The MSc programme in Wind Energy qualifies you for employment in a rapidly expanding international industry.     The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Academic Requirements

General Requirements

To be admitted to a Master's degree program at DTU you must be either:
  • bachelor's degree in technical science or
  • diploma engineer or
  • bachelor in science.

The bachelor degree must be less than 10 years old.

The individual MSc Eng programme states in detail which bachelor programmes qualify and whether applicants have to complete supplementary educational activities.

Requirements for supplementary educational activities can equate to up to 30 ECTS credits and are specified in the form of a list of courses under the individual MSc Eng programmes.
