Overview
They therefore become universal problem solvers. Due to their aptitude to handle experimental, theoretical and computer-oriented methods, they develop analytical qualities with which they are able to tackle key challenges in scientific, economic and industrial areas.
The English-language master's programme Physics at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz expands knowledge acquired during the bachelor's programme, offering the possibility to continue in-depth research in one specialist area of physics and in state-of-the-art physical research, especially in basic research. Moreover, their physical and mathematical knowledge is enhanced and developed further.
Expected results
- Graduates of the master's programme Physics will have acquired a comprehensive understanding of physics, be able to specialise in a specific field of physics and independently master complex problems with the help of physical and mathematical methods.
- In addition, they will be able to use experimental, theoretical and computer-based methods to solve problems related to physics. Their research and application-oriented studies in an international environment qualifies them optimally for a whole range of different activities in Austria and abroad.
