Overview
The Educational Psychology (Guidance and Counseling) program of University of Namibia will be offered through the modes of coursework and thesis. The programme shall be offered by the Department of Educational Psychology and Inclusive Education through full-time and part-time face-to-face mode.
Assessment criteria
Assessment of both the coursework and the theses shall be in accordance with the general regulations of the University of Namibia.
- Whereas the continuous assessment shall constitute 50%, the final examination-assessment shall constitute 50%.
- This degree shall be in accordance with the general regulations of the University of Namibia which include the use of external examiners.

- An Honours degree in Psychology OR a four-year (level 8) Bachelor's degree with Psychology as a major subject. C grade average is required for the degree.
- A professional teacher training qualification.
- Radiological Report
- Deed of Surety Form
- Medical Certificate (original)
- Two (2) Passport size photos
- Admission letter from UNAM
- Proof of Registration from UNAM
- Proof of accommodation in Namibia
- Completed main application form and visa form
- Police Clearance from home country (compulsory)
- Reasons for studying in Namibia (write one paragraph)
- Proof of medical aid/ insurance (valid and active)*.
