Doctor of Medicine in Community Medicine is a three-year postgraduation course.It is a branch of medicine that is concerned with the health of the members of a community, municipality, or region. The Community Medicine course from Amrita University prepares students to recognize the health needs of the community and carry out professional obligations ethically and in keeping with objectives of the national health policy.
Any candidate who has passed the MBBS degree from a recognized University thereto by Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council is eligible for the M. D. in Community Medicine.
