By taking the Microbiology program from Amrita University, you will:

Understanding of the morphology, physiology, classification and function of microorganisms along with several subjects including Biochemistry, Cell biology, Immunology, Virology, Molecular Biology and Genetics.

Investigating the integral role of microorganisms in specific diseases, vital role of microorganisms in Biotechnology, Fermentation technology, Medicine, and other industries important to human wellbeing as well as establishing the role of Medical Microbiology in Clinical and Community medicine.

Hands on experience in state-of-the-art laboratory equipments enriching the students to perform intensive microbial research and execute diagnostic procedures required in Food, Dairy and Pharmaceutical industries.

Establish the culture of independent learning, innovative research and productive teamwork.
