Students who have already acquired a grounding in aviation technology or a related subject can specialize further in an aeronautical discipline of their choice (from aeronautical engineering to aviation management) and contribute their knowledge to the student-based ‘joanneum aeronautics’ team. Students can choose the Master of Science in Aviation at  FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences.

In the Master of Science in Aviation at  FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences you will learn about different aspects of aircraft construction with a focus on the application of fibre-composite and hybrid materials.

You will apply your knowledge of the various different materials used in aircraft construction to lightweight construction and manufacturability of the complete aircraft. This subject area is rounded off with a course on the topic of certification and approval. On completion of this key subject area, you will be in the position to apply your technical knowledge directly at an aircraft or system manufacturer.
