The Master’s Degree Course in Medical, Veterinary or Forensic Biotechnological Sciences from University of Perugia aims at providing high levels of competence in the planning and in the scientific and technical-productive development of the biotechnologies applied to human health, veterinary medicine or forensic activities. The course is biennial and, although it foresees the participation of the Departments of Veterinary Medicine and Law, it will be held mostly at the Department of Medicine. During the common training path, the teaching will be delivered either through regular classes or through lab activities.
Afterwards, disciplines aimed at the acquisition of specific knowledge in the medical field (advanced molecular diagnostics), veterinary field (animal production and breeding, veterinary pathology and diagnostics, development and use of animal models for biomedical studies) and medical-forensic field (acquisition of toxicological, medicolegal, juridical and criminological skills and knowledge of the regulatory involved in the submission of patents, spin-offs, European Community grant applications) will be foreseen depending on the chosen curriculum.
Students will be able to deepen several aspects of interest and improve specific skills through the wide offer of freely-accessible practical courses.
