The Product Design Engineering from The Glasgow School of Art contextual studies relating to project work include entrepreneurial, technology, human factors, ethical and societal considerations. PDE is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Institute of Technology and the Institute of Engineering Designers to allow Chartered Engineer status - an excellent springboard for industry, consultancy, or higher degrees.

Product Design Engineering or "PDE" brings together two cultures - the studio and creative environment of one of Europe's leading art schools - the GSA and the James Watt School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow - a world top 100 university (QS World Ranking).
