Overview

The Lexicography course from University of Minho has had several editions, since 2009, in Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and in University of Lorraine.

1st semester: along with an introduction to lexicography basic concepts (e-learning), the students will attend other Curricular Units in other Masters of the ILCH and will enhance English and German knowledge (if necessary).

2nd semester.: On mobility schemes (Erasmus program), in one of the universities of the Consortium (Maribor, in 2010-11; Barcelona, in 2011-12; Erlangen, in 2012-13; Santiago de Compostela, in 2013-14 and Braga, in 2014-15).

Objectives

The master programme EMLex is an international course of studies that:

promotes the international and interdisciplinary training of lexicographers (unique in Europe in its present structure);

teaches lexicographical theories and practices on a high international level;

brings together students from different countries of the world.
