Overview

The Curriculum Units (UC's) of the common core are mandatory and are within the scientific areas of biology, physics, geology, mathematics and chemistry. The branches of specialization are developed from the second semester.

Each branch includes specific UC's mandatory and optional, in the field of Environmental Sciences and others, in order to confer the powers of each and thus generate their training profile.

The integrative nature of the Environment Sciences and Technologies Master from University of Minho is further reinforced by the existence, in 2nd semester of each branch, of an optional UC that can be chosen from among several UC's working in the two branches.
