Overview
This Applied Biochemistry course at University of Minho provides a solid background in core areas of Biochemistry, such as the structure and function of biomolecules and the methods used in their production, characterization and analysis.
The students will also acquire knowledge in the most recent scientific advances in areas such as molecular regulation of the cell and techniques used to study it, genetic manipulation, computational modelling and bioinformatics.
Allowing students to specialize within an area of Biochemistry offers a better preparation to fit into the job market and/or onto 3rd cycle programs (PhD).
