It is no longer possible to devise an effective management of any type of industrial system or service without the application of the techniques and methodologies integrated in the various disciplines that constitute the body of knowledge known as Human Engineering.

- The intention of this course at University of Minho is to provide training at a postgraduate level in the field of Human Engineering (considering subjects as Ergonomics, Occupational Safety and Hygiene) in order to provide companies with qualified practitioners.
- The main idea is to comply with legal obligations and, simultaneously, contributing for the sustained development of companies, based on the improvement of the working conditions.
