The techno-scientific field of Human Engineering at University of Minho, or human factors engineering, is now recognized as an important element of a modern and efficient industrial management.
It is no longer possible to devise an effective management of any type of industrial system or service without the application of the techniques and methodologies integrated in the various disciplines that constitute the body of knowledge known as Human Engineering.
