The Master of Science in Botany at University of Johannesburg will be awarded following the successful completion of a dissertation based on an approved research topic. In addition to the above, one or more additional modules may be required. The general regulations for Master’s Degrees are also applicable.

The purpose of a MSc dissertation is to provide students with specialised advanced education and training while meeting the requirements of a specific research component. 

Students can master the required experimental and technological skills and necessary fieldwork competencies such as:

GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.
