Overview

Business Psychology from Business College of Athens aims at the study of human behaviour in the workplace drawing equally form the scientific field of psychology (for example, motivation, counseling and psychometrics) and from the field of business (for HRM in the global context, corporate strategy and change management). Emphasis is placed in the employee selection, learning, development and support in order to ensure professional happiness and success and organizational performance.

  • Business Psychology is one of the most dynamically developing sciences, with the application of basic psychological principles and theories being put in to the service of employees and organizations (ensuring happiness and efficiency)
  • This interdisciplinary programme, helps students build solid and advanced knowledge in psychology applied in an organisation, since it is led and supported primarily by the faculty of the Psychology department (and secondarily by the faculty of the Business Department)
  • Τhe department of psychology offers a unique learning opportunity to those interested in developing in depth knowledge about the organization as a field of application of psychological theory. Ιt offers a unique learning opportunity to those interested in complementing their knowledge in business and the corporate environment with seminal knowledge of psychological theory
  • Indicatively, 100% the teaching Psychology staff is a PhD holder, while 60% holds PhDs from the most prestigious Universities of the UK and the USA (Oxford University, Cambridge University, University of Chicago)

  • A 2nd class honours degree from a UK University, or
  • A Ptychion of 6.0 and above from  an AEI University or
  • A Ptychion of 7.0 and above from a TEI University, or
  • A Bachelor from an American University with GPA 2.75 and above or equivalent qualification.
  • IELTS: a minimum score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the test)
