Overview
Students obtain a scientific and technical education in Pharmatechnology, which allows them to work in research, development or production in the pharmaceutical industry. Modules cover the formulation of drugs including biopharmaceuticals and the various routes of drug delivery. This master degree is offered at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
Another set of modules emphasizes the analytics required in the pharmaceutical industry. Students are taught in protein analytics, compound profiling, advanced mass-spectroscopy and the use of tissue engineering for drug discovery. Further modules focus on the production aspects: important subjects addressed are the continuous pharmaceutical production and the design of (bio-)pharmaceutical production facilities.

Graduates with an excellent Bachelor's degree are admitted directly if they:

- or demonstrate an equivalent background (BSc) and practical experience
- and have excellent English skills.
