Programme Structure

Chemistry education at the University of Basel is versatile. The bachelor program teaches the basics of chemistry. In the master's program, a first specialization is possible, which can then be deepened in doctoral studies by dealing with current issues.

The admission to the master’s degree program requires a bachelor’s degree with 180 credit points from a higher education institution recognized by the University of Basel.
