The Master Programme in Molecular Medicine at Uppsala University focuses on the molecular mechanisms that cause diseases, the newest technologies in genomics, epigenetics and proteomics as well as the development of prognostic, diagnostic and therapeutic tools. The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading). The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).
A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be in biomedicine, medicine, pharmacy, engineering, biology, or a similar field of study that gives relevant knowledge in chemistry, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and molecular genetics.
Also required is previous experience of laboratory work.
Among the applicants fulfilling the entry and programme-specific requirements, there will be a selection based on their qualifications specified on a CV form. The CV form and all supporting documentation must then be uploaded by 1 February.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
