Overview

The Process Technology programme at University of South-Eastern Norway is taught in English and international students are enrolled in this programme. The vibrant student environment offers excellent facilities and students have close contact with their teachers

You can participate in the design or operation of industrial process plants, and will also be qualified to work with process safety and energy production.

Working with the local business community

The local business community will be involved throughout this programme, for example through guest speakers from our partnering institutions and through visits to relevant companies.

We do extensive research and work closely with our industrial partners. The majority of the student projects in our programme are done in partnership with external companies.

General requirements

This programme requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or environmental Engineering (other programs may also be accepted). In addition you must have passed the following:

Mathematics at the level of Mathematics III (at USN), or the equivalent

A bachelor course in Thermodynamics at minimum 5 ECTS credits

A bachelor course in Fluid Mechanics at minimum 5 ECTS credits
