Other requirements
General requirements
- As a consecutive course, it is aimed at students with a good bachelor's degree in computational linguistics. Applicants with a good bachelor's degree with a focus on theoretical/formal linguistics or computer science can also enroll after a successful quality and affinity check of the degree. However, you will receive course requirements for the area not covered in the Bachelor's degree, which must be completed in the "Supplementary Area: Basics" module provided for this purpose.
- Proof of good English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference or above is also required for enrollment. This proof must be provided by an internationally recognized test (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.). Applicants with a German Abitur and applicants whose mother tongue is English or who have graduated from an English-speaking secondary school do not need any additional proof, as this already proves the B2 level.
