The courses are conducted over an academic year, mainly on Fridays and Saturdays. Those who attain the required standard at the end of this programme may continue towards MSc degree, by undertaking a supervised researh project, normally lasting over one year on part-time basis.

Degree of Bachelor of Science of Engineering of the University of Moratuwa in Electrical Engineering; or

Any other engineering degree of at least four years duration in a relevant field of specialization, as may be approved by the Senate; or

Any recognized category of membership of a recognized Professional Institute, obtained through an academic route, with a minimum of one year of recognized appropriate experience obtained after the membership, as may be approved by the Senate.
