Overview
The Industrial Psychology programme from University of Namibia prepares graduates for four tasks, namely explaining individual, group and organisational behaviour, measuring behaviour and predicting potentiality, contributing to organisation development, and translating research findings and empowering potential users thereof.
Curriculum
The MA (Industrial/Organizational Psychology) programme consists of two parts. In the first year, students will complete their academic coursework studies and examinations. In the second year, students write a research mini-thesis and complete an Industrial/Organizational Psychology practicum.

General requirements
- At least a C-grade average (i.e., 60% and above) in one of the following qualifications:
- a 4- Industrial/Organizational Psychology,
- a 4-year BPsych degree,
- a 4-year Honours degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology,
- an equivalence of a 4-year BA Degree Honours in Industrial/Organizational or
- an equivalence of a level 8 qualification (in Industrial/Organizational Psychology) on the Namibian Qualifications Authority.
- Undergo a selection process, which might include psychometric assessment, assessment centre activities, individual interviews, and two reference reports.
- Radiological Report
- Deed of Surety Form
- Medical Certificate (original)
- Two (2) Passport size photos
- Admission letter from UNAM
- Proof of Registration from UNAM
- Proof of accommodation in Namibia
- Completed main application form and visa form
- Police Clearance from home country (compulsory)
- Reasons for studying in Namibia (write one paragraph)
- Proof of medical aid/ insurance (valid and active)*.
