Overview

The Public Administration program from Macau University of Science & Technology is designed to enhance knowledge and develop skills essential to careers dealing with public affairs in civil service, societies, and enterprises in Macao, mainland China and other regions, affording the students a solid foundation for further development in their careers as public administration professionals.

Course Characteristics:

• Comprehensive scope of course including economics, organizational behavior, public management, administrative law, public finance, statistics, public policy analysis, information technology and management, government human resources management, management communication, etc.

• Research experience, in the second academic year, students will conduct a research project and write the master thesis under supervision, which will be useful for both career development and further studies.

• Integration of theory and practice in enhancing understanding, knowledge and skills for public administration. Beyond regular courses, students are encouraged to conduct field practice in government and civil societies.
