The Dental Science (Research) programme is offered at MARA Technological University.

Research topic proposed must be in consultation with principle supervisor. The intake for these programme is throughout the year.

The programme extends over a minimum period of three (3) semesters for full time study and four to six (4-6) semesters for part time study.

Programme Structure

Courses:

Research Methodology and Research Proposal

Candidates are required to attend Research Skills Seminar organized by the Institute of Graduate Studies to strengthen their knowledge on research. It is mandatory for newly registered postgraduate students prior to their Defence Research Proposal.

Research and Thesis Writing

Presentation of research proposal, research work and thesis writing.

Submission of thesis, viva-voce, and correction where applicable.

Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.

A candidate applying for admission into this programme is required to submit a research proposal to the faculty. The acceptance of a candidate shall be at the discretion of the UiTM Senate, whose decision shall be final.
