Overview

The main aim of the Operating Room program of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences is training committed, knowledgeable and competent people who are sensitive to patients' life at operating room.

Nowadays surgery and surgical equipment are highly developed. So a successful surgery needs a professional team who work together cooperatively. In order to achieve this we need surgical technicians who are well trained in this specialized field and acquire special competencies to aid surgeons and help patients.

At Operating Room program of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences students will be competent in the following skills:

Managing a safe transportation of the patients

Looking after the patients in perioperation period

Using the general and specialized equipment at operating room

Providing and keeping a healthy physical and psychological environment at operating room

Aiding the surgeon
