Overview
Pakistan has experienced major disasters with intense frequency during last decade. Establishment of National Disaster Management Authority and its subsidiary organizations at provincial and district level have brought the paradigm shift from relief oriented approach to prevention, mitigation, and preparedness commonly referred as disaster risk management.
Frequency of offering
The Structural Engineering program of the National University of Sciences and Technology is offered every fall of the year i.e. starts in August of each year.

- Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years’ education post-HSSC/A’ Level, 12th Grade, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks, unless specified otherwise. Percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript
