Learning Outcomes
After completing the Communication degree program at University of Santo Tomas, the student must be able to:
- Critique received/extant communication theory, or appropriate, indigenize, nativize, vernacularize or contextualize said received/extant theories
- Utilize theoretical knowledge to conduct original research that will enlighten Philippine communication as a social process
- Conceptualize, carry-out, present, and publish original research papers to deepen and widen the corpus of knowledge in communication and allied disciplines;
- Administer, manage, and lead a research group, organization, or institution to realize the research and development agenda of the organization vis-a-vis the country.
