Overview

Applied Statistics (Part-time) programme at Birkbeck, University of London covers both the theory and application of statistical and stochastic modelling techniques to applied problems in industry, the public services, commerce and research. It proceeds from a strong theoretical background, but it is practically oriented, in order to develop your ability to tackle new and non-standard problems confidently. The mutual dependence of practice and theory is emphasised throughout the course.
