Overview

You investigate how interiors can respond to climate change, social injustice and different forms of inhabitation, considering the relationships between people, environments, materials and identities. Interior Design from Royal College of Art encourages speculation, analysis and rigour, challenging you to develop your own independent and critical responses through reworking existing structures, designing installations or creating permanent interventions using space, objects and materials. You learn through design studios, supported by lectures, seminars and workshops, and are encouraged to question, experiment and challenge your processes by ‘thinking through making’ across analogue and digital media.
