The goal of the Biomedical Engineering programme of University of Lübeck is to educate students in the interdisciplinary fields of engineering and medicine.
"Biomedical engineering integrates physical, chemical, mathematical, and computational sciences and engineering principles to study biology, medicine, behaviour, and health.
