In The Environment and governance program from Monash University you will examine social and institutional frameworks for environmental governance and the tools for environmental analysis and decision making within the context of different doctrines of development. The specialisation will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to critically analyse problems of environmental governance and sustainability to enable societal and governmental change.

There are a broad range of contexts in which transitions to more sustainable practices are needed, including environmental policy and analysis, planning, consulting, education, advocacy and management.

The Environment and Governance specialisation will develop your understanding of policy and governance to enable change and responsible action to support sustainability.
