Overview

At Friedrich Schiller University Jena, we provide basic training which enables students to work in scientifically-grounded professional fields as M.Sc. in Psychology – Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, such as in industry, healthcare, and non-profit organisations. 

Topics for Master Theses are continuously offered at the Department for General Psychology (Prof. Dr. Stefan R. Schweinberger). The topics are typically related to current „hot topics“ in research in person perception and human communication. We offer tight supervision and full integration of students into active research laboratories. 

We also offer the option to get training in sophisticates research methods (e.g., cognitive electrophysiology and EEG/EKPs, eye tracking, digital image and sound morphing, 3-D imaging etc.). We expect your scientific enthusiasm for your M.Sc. topic as well as continuous work in the field, while liaising with the respective lab team.
