Cyber security is not simply about protecting the internet. As our world becomes ever more dependent upon digital systems, our vehicles, infrastructure, industrial controls, finances, and medical devices all exist within the cyber domain.

Our world is becoming ever more dependent upon the relationship between people, the environment, and digital systems. Our evolving use of web and mobile communication devices is obvious. Less noticeable are the digital systems in vehicles, infrastructure, industry, finance, agriculture, and medicine. These all reside in the cyber domain and all need securing.

By studying Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) at WMG University of Warwick you will deepen your knowledge of this multifaceted cyberspace. You’ll understand the nature of this evolving cyber environment, and how to protect and enhance the human experience within it.

On this MSc, you will develop your ability to think and act coherently in cyberspace. You'll focus on the technical aspects of cyber security and how these may be implemented in a multidisciplinary way. The course is a broad fusion of practical application and theoretical abstraction. You should expect to be using your deep understanding to solve realistic cyber security problems.

In order to meet our academic entry requirement, you should have obtained the minimum of a UK 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent).

Candidates with a UK 2:2 (or equivalent) may be accepted upon demonstration of relevant professional experience.

A completed application form and £60 application fee.
A Personal Statement which can be included in the online application.
A scan of your transcript (marksheet). If you are still studying, please send us your transcripts to date.
English language test result (if applicable) - this can be submitted after you have an offer.
One reference.
