Overview
Deggendorf Institute of Technology's Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Master's program aims to enable graduates of a diploma or bachelor's programme to support the knowledge gained to date with further theoretical knowledge in order to meet the requirements of modern development tasks, particularly in high-tech areas, in a special way.

- In order to ensure intensive individualised mentoring, it is only possible for us to admit a limited number of applicants. To be able to coordinate adequately , it is therefore necessary that you make a binding selection of your area of focus, Electronic and Communication Systems (ENS) or Automation (AT), at the time of application. If necessary, the admission test will be used as a criterion for the allocation of the available places. If you do not make a selection in the course of your application, you will be assigned a focus.

General requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science (or a related subject) with at least 210 ECTS points and an overall grade of at least "good".
- Additionally, the suitability for this programme must be proven through an aptitude test. The aptitude test consists of a written exam, with sample questions available. This test is offered and conducted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Media Technology. If in-person attendance is not possible, an online test is available. However, this online test is conducted by an external service provider and requires a fee of 27,30 USD, payable with an internationally recognised credit card at the time of scheduling.
- Professional experience following the completion of the first university degree is not a requirement for admission.
