Overview

The programme combines an academically rigorous curriculum with a learning-by-doing approach facilitated by mentors, peers and industry practitioners.

The impactful results of the programme can only be achieved when three components work together.

Academic teaching

The academic part of the programme is not just about learning theory, instead, it is aimed at providing clarity of thought in a confusing world. The teaching staff offer the latest academic thinking and frameworks to help students chart their own path.

Practical application

Practical engagement allows students to apply the academic knowledge they gain in real life. Students will meet industry practitioners and learn about emerging entrepreneurial challenges they have faced, and the solutions they found to overcome them. These interactions help students to expand not just their industry-specific knowledge but also to shape the way they approach their own venture challenges.

Community

Students of the programme become integrated into the Cambridge entrepreneurial ecosystem through contact with alumni, industry experts, interactive seminar trainers and mentors during events offered in the residential weeks. Many relationships built during the programme are maintained for a long time afterwards and continue to offer valuable networking opportunities.

Programme Structure

Two-year part-time programme

The Master of Studies in Entrepreneurship is designed as a twoyear part-time programme to fit around the time constraints of an early-stage entrepreneur.

Blended online and residential

Core and elective courses

The core modules provide a broad set of essential knowledge every entrepreneur should have, regardless of their industry or background. The core modules complement one another to build a strong foundation upon which students customise their learning experience through elective modules.
